Ganesh Himal Region
This is one of the best trekkings the
central region of Nepal. We begin the trek
from Syabru Bensi via Dhunche is 7 hrs drive
from Kathmandu and walk in the lower and
warmer region that leads to the south face
of Ganesh Himal. We enjoy fine views of
Ganesh Himal, Boudha Himal, Manaslu,
Himachuli, Langtang and other peaks. We
leave the ethnic village of Tamangs and
descend to cross the Buri Gandaki River to
Gorkha, the birthplace of Prithivi Narayan
Shah, founder of Nepal and the Shah Dynasty.
